First of all, we would like to express our sincerest apologies for the delay you have experienced on your flight with us and for the inconvenience it may have caused you. Good on-time performance is important to us and we deeply regret delays like this.
While we will always strive to ensure that all of our flights depart according to schedule, unfortunately, due to the nature of the aviation industry, it is possible that delays may occur from time to time.
We will notify our guests about any flight delays and strive to keep them updated via text message or email provided at the time of booking.*
If you have an onward flight with us, in the same booking as the delayed flight, we will do our very best to move you to the next available flight with us.
If you are delayed overnight in a country that is not your country of residence, WOW air will do its best to arrange accommodation free of charge, provided that the airline is legally required to do so. If the airline is unable to secure accommodation, you might need to cover the cost and then claim compensation from WOW air afterward. Please note that you are not authorized to choose whichever hotel you prefer and are required to keep cost to a minimum, and book the most inexpensive accommodation available at any given time.
When your travel plans are disrupted you might also need to cover the cost of meals and travel expenses to and from the airport. You are also required to keep all such expenses at a minimum. Food and transport expenses will always be assessed in accordance with the length of the delay. Public transport should be used whenever possible. Copies of receipts must be provided to support your claim. WOW air will only reimburse reasonable travel expenses in accordance with the length of the delay.
If your flight was delayed and you think you might be eligible for financial compensation you can submit your claim online by logging in to My booking using your 6-digit booking number. If you never received a booking number but wish to submit a claim because of a delayed flight please proceed here.
Any compensation or associated costs incurred will be reimbursed to the extent required by any law which may apply. We recommend our guests to check if they have any travel insurance that may cover any related cost. For further information please see our customer service plan and conditions of carriage.
This notice only provides you with information on possible rights under the law; it gives you no contractual right to compensation.
